DigiCollab is proud to have achieved ISO 19650 certification, confirming its dedication to and expertise in managing information using building Information modelling (BIM).
Awarded the ISO 19650-2: 2018 – Part 2: Delivery phase of the assets accreditation – one of the highest construction industries levels of BIM certification, DigiCollab has confirmed its position as a leading advocate of BIM and demonstrated its continued commitment to applying best practices across its projects.
The organisation has been awarded the certification as an Appointed Party Providing Design (co-ordination), Design Management, Project Management, Specialist subcontractor, Consultant and Model Production services in accordance with BS EN ISO 19650-2:2018 incorporating the UK National Annex.
This builds on the previous accreditation from BSI - the PAS 1192-2 covering Design and Construction for Level 2 BIM and was achieved following a robust audit of the team's BIM management processes and documentation.
"We are delighted to have achieved the ISO 19650 accreditation; it validates all of the hard work we have put into streamlining and refining our processes and procedures," said Adam West, Managing Director of DigiCollab.
These standards, which work hand in hand with our ISO 9001 quality management system, will result in cost savings and efficiencies that can be passed on to our clients. They should give our clients peace of mind that DigiCollab is always reviewing and developing our BIM Standards and information management practises," he stated.
The new ISO standard provides assurance that the BIM process is being adopted throughout the AEC industries and by achieving the certification DigiCollab has showcased its BIM maturity and confirmed it has robust processes in place.
